Michel Tuffery M.N.Z.M. is a multimedia artist
whose art practice embraces painting, printmaking, sculpture and installations.
Michel's imagery has been shaped by his research of past and present histories in Polynesia
and his personal encounters with the Islands and their peoples.

This exhibition of woodblock prints, drawings and sculptural wall pieces
reveals his empathy with the patterns and symbols
of traditional Samoan Siapo (tapa) and Tatau (tattoo) designs
tied to a unique contemporary vision.
